In The Image Of The Maker

In ancient Jewish images people were depicted with bird heads. Was this so not to create an icon? It was a theological law loop hole. In the bible and in the Torah it says we are created in the image of the Maker. Does God look human? Does God look like anything? Perhaps our spirits are created in the image of the spirit of the Maker. Who holds the scissors of creation? Have we perhaps created God in our image?
